We're proud to say we've provided high quality, competitively priced apartments in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area for more than half a century.Our first apartment building went up near the Marquette University campus in 1957, when units rented for about $80 per month. Over the decades that followed, we built more than a thousand apartment units and still manage hundreds of them today.

Our goal is to be competitively priced yet generate enough income to proactively take care of our buildings; we make it a priority to repaint apartments between renters and replace carpets when necessary.

We don't use a screw driver to pound nails. When you need us, you'll get the right person, with the right skills and the right tools to respond. Each of our buildings has a designated on-site manager who handles routine inquiries and issues.When additional skills are needed, our full-time maintenance technician can step in; he's been with us for decades and knows our buildings inside and out. And if significant issues arise, our Property Manager is a professional, licensed broker who has the authority to call in the experts - plumbers, carpet layers or roofers -when     Leon Joseph & Milt Katz                                              necessary.  We call it our triple layer of service!


You can count on us for quality. We built many of the properties owned and managed today by Wellston Apartments. As far back as the 1950's, we took great pride in using quality construction materials and techniques that would stand the test of time. We chose plaster instead of drywall, for example, because it provided better sound proofing, fire protection and required less maintenance. Today, more than a half century later, many of those buildings still stand - as does our commitment to quality.
